Comprehensive Curriculum

Play-based programming along with interest-led learning of a child. Academic curriculum is integrated in daily learning. Our well-rounded curriculum supports all areas of development—cognitive, physical, social, and emotional. We blend structured activities with play-based learning to foster a love of learning and discovery. Our imaginative play areas are equipped with a variety of open-ended materials and props that encourage children to use their imagination. These items include dress-up clothes, building blocks, kitchen sets, and more, allowing children to create their own stories and scenarios.

Outdoor Play Time

Daily outdoor time allows children to explore nature. Our centre has 3 separate playgrounds for infant, toddler and preschool program.

Music and Movement

Rasholeen Nakra/Director of Petite Luminaries Childcare

Rasholeen is the visionary Director of Petite Luminaries Childcare, where her dual roles as a dedicated mother and an astute business leader intersect to create a nurturing and dynamic environment for young children. A mom to two wonderful children, Rasholeen draws immense inspiration from her personal experiences, channeling her passion for parenting into her entrepreneurial journey as a daycare owner.

Donna Leila /Supervisor of Petite Luminaries Childcare

Ms. Leila serves as the esteemed Supervisor of Petite Luminaries Childcare, bringing over 25 years of invaluable experience in early childhood education to her role. As a lead Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE), Ms. Leila has dedicated her career to nurturing and educating children across a broad age spectrum, from infants to school-age children. Her extensive experience includes 15 years of significant leadership roles as Assistant Supervisor and Centre Supervisor, where she has honed her skills in managing and guiding educational environments.

Ms. Hafsa /Assistant Supervisor of Petite Luminaries Childcare

Ms. Hafsa is the dedicated Assistant Supervisor at Petite Luminaries Childcare, bringing over 5 years of experience as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE). Her passion lies in creating nurturing, safe, and engaging environments where children can thrive. With a strong focus on supporting child development, guiding staff, and fostering meaningful relationships with families, Ms. Hafsa plays an integral role in the success of our daycare community.
